Last night, the 2011 Soul Train Awards aired on BET. With the exception of Chris Brown who won Album of the Year and Miguel who won Best New Artist, it was primarily ladies night. Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Rihanna won trophies from the ceremony, although they were not in attendance. A tribute for Gladys Knight was the highlight of the show as Marsha Ambrosius, Kenny Latimore, Dave Hollister, Tamar Braxton and more took the stage to pay homage.
