The official numbers are in for music sales of 2011, and the results may….. not surprise you. Pop music reigns supreme on the year-end sales charts with a few appearances from hip-hop/R&B artists. Adele pops a squat at the top of both album and digital downloads chart with 5.82 million copies sold of 21 and 5.81 copies sold of “Rolling In The Deep.”
